Xàtiva is a millenary city, of the few that preserve the essence of ancient European cultures, which is manifested in its rich heritage, of which, despite the passage of time, wars and calamities that have occurred, much remains.
In our itinerary we immerse ourselves in the Middle Ages, we enter in the magic of the Historical Center and stroll through its cobbled streets that often surprise us with the skill and expertise with which the master stonecutters built beautiful palaces with coats of arms; fountains full of life and health and temples, deserving of the highest ecclesiastical dignities. Finally, we briefly visit the museum to learn about the history of a cruel king whose portrait hangs upside down as a symbol of punishment and the ancient store of wheat or Almudín, where we are surprised by an enigmatic archaeological piece, the beautiful and unique Arabic Pile of Xativa.
